SAN JOSE, Calif.—August 4, 2010—Zafesoft Inc., announces the release of MAC support. Now users can zafe files on MAC or Windows, and exchange them with each other.
The newly added MAC support looks and behaves like a MAC product should, and allows users to view, edit, and create new zafe files on the MAC. The initial support is for PDF files with Acrobat reader and writer. Other file formats will be added with inline releases.
This removes one of the big hurdles in sharing sensitive content of a mixed operating system environment of Windows and MAC. The solution maintains its highly transparent user interface, while enabling the sharing of content with edit ability, without the loss of security or audit history.
MAC support was the most requested feature from our customers. This is indeed a momentous occasion; the MAC Z-Opener is now available.
With this solution users can share ‘zafed’ content with users on Windows and Mac. These users may edit and freely share this information with authorized users, all while maintaining audit history of content access and activity.
