Zafesoft Office Documents Security solution. Companies must be pre-approved to trial
the solution.

Zafesoft secures the information in office documents from malicious, accidental, or
intrusive leakage, simply by saving the file in zafed folders (folder designated as secure),
or just zafing the file from the “Office Menu”. Its patent protected technology provides a
deterministic solution that persistently secures this information.
Users work with “zafed” content, unobtrusively and transparently. They can copy and
paste this information or portions of it to other files and save to any location of their
choice such as local folders, network folders, USB drives, CD’s, DVD’s etc, they may
email or in other ways distribute this information. The information or its derivatives
remains secure wherever it may be. However, once any of these users leave the
company, they are unable to view, edit, or otherwise compromise the secured
information.
Similarly, any unauthorized attempts to access “zafed” information, such as from
intruders or hackers, are thwarted by the Zafesoft solution.
Real Security: Zafesoft protects this information in its state of rest, motion, and dynamic
edit without restrictions. The solution provides deterministic security.
SAAS Model: The solution is available as a service, hosted and managed by Zafesoft
on a Z-Central Server; for companies that would prefer to host a server inside their
firewall, a locally managed server is also available called the Z-Hub.
Control and Ownership: The ownership and location of the information always stays
with the company, managed by the Owner / Manager, no zafed information ever goes to
Zafesoft or its Z-Central Server. Moreover, the managers can track ‘who is accessing’
and ‘where the information is’. With a single click they can disable suspicious users from
further access to their information.
Disconnected Use: Users are not required to be network or internet connected while
working with zafed information. These users continue working transparently when they
are not connected, without compromising any of the security of “zafed” information.
The “zafed” information may then be edited, copied, moved or transferred by any of the
authorized users. Once the users are no longer authorized, all access, view, and edit
rights are removed, and the security of the information is deterministically preserved.
